Start in your Gmail account.
On the top right side of the screen, there is a box with a picture of a gear on it. Click the arrow on the box to bring down the drop down menu. Select Settings.
In the general tab of the settings page, scroll down to “my picture,” then click the highlighted Select a Picture text.
The “Upload a Picture of Yourself” dialog box will appear. Click the Choose File button and navigate to the file on your computer that you would like to use for your profile.
Select the file to highlight it, then click the Open button.
Now you get the chance to crop your photo. Adjust it to your satisfaction, and then click the Apply Changes button.
There you go! You have a profile picture.
Choose one of the two radio buttons to the right of your picture to determine who gets to see it.
Important- scroll to the bottom of the settings page and click the Save Changes button.
