Austin Startup Week is right around the corner, and Coolhead Tech will be right there in the thick of things. This five-day event (Oct. 8-12) spotlights Austin startups and the people and ideas behind them.
Whether you are part of a startup or your million-dollar idea is still in the planning stages, this event is a great place to network with investors, employees, partners and customers. Organizers work to create an exciting atmosphere for the tech community to come together to learn and collaborate In addition to the local community, Austin Startup Week brings worldwide developers and investors, students and graduates, startups, and tech lovers to Central Texas.
MadeInAustin Job Fair: The kickoff of the week, last year's fair connected more than 500 computer science, engineering and management information systems students and graduates with some 115 employers. The founders ofcampus2careers, Capital Factory andAustin Startup Week came together to create MadeInAustin to bridge the gap between local startups and talent seeking jobs and internships.Coolhead Tech, a MadeInAustin sponsor, will be hiring for two positions—a Google Apps Certified Deployment Specialist and a Google Apps Script and Engine Developer. The fair is free for job-seekers.

Austin Startup Bazaar: From 11:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 10, the spotlight will be on quickly-growing tech startups seeking investors, employees, potential partners and customers. These startups will demonstrate their products and pitch business proposals. The Bazaar provides an inspiring atmosphere where you can mingle with these successful entrepreneurs, extend your network, and ignite your inspiration. Demo Day: Hosted by Capitol Factory (Angel Investors attendance by invitation only), Demo Day exhibits Austin tech startups that can achieve $1 million in revenue with less than $1 million in funding. In attendance will be 100 investors that have an interest in funding these startups. Epic Mentor Office Hours: Mentors from DreamIt Ventures, Silverton Partners, TechStars Cloud, Capitol Factory, and Austin Tech Incubatorwill be available. This is a great opportunity to get feedback, bounce ideas off of successful techies, ask questions, position yourself to move in the right direction, and connect with epic mentors. Signing up ahead of time isn't required but it's highly suggested to secure your time with the people you want to meet. The Event is at Capital Factory at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 10.
